In his keynote address at the Catholic Community Services of Western Washington Gala Dinner, Archbishop Murphy urges all present to use their imagination to see the face of God in the anawim – the lonely, poor, hungry and homeless in our society. He extended his heartfelt gratitude to all those engaged in serving the less fortunate. The archbishop offered the following thought, “The anawim are still among us today and they become the face of God for people who take the time to stop, to look, and to discover far more than the human imagination dreamed possible.”
