Archbishop Murphy cites the fundamental significance of Easter to all Christians in his homily given on Easter Sunday at St. James Cathedral in Seattle, WA – we are challenged to believe that Jesus rose from the dead and because he did our lives will never be the same again. “Women would come to the tomb, later to be followed by Peter and John, and in trying to find the body of Jesus, they found nothing,” said Archbishop Murphy. “But in finding nothing, they discovered everything.” In his view, the most important task for all to embrace is to allow the Risen Lord to touch our lives.
