Ordination of Priests and Deacons
Introduction
Bishop Murphy presided at the ordination of Greg Staudinger to the diaconate. The central theme of the homily is service – service to others and to the church as a whole. He concluded with the following thought, “The Lord in the Gospel this evening has given us the example. He came not to be served, but to serve. Let us celebrate that example of the Lord in what we are about to do.”
